Regional Sales Manager - CASO/SE/RCCW- Charlotte, NC

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – RCCW-CASO-SE Charlotte, NC will lead accountability for CCBCC and Independent bottlers in the North Carolina and South Carolina CASO-franchise territories. The role will require the RSM to establish a coverage frequency and ownership routines and to serve as the front line communicator & facilitator of Dr Pepper Snapple Group strategic direction to our CASO bottlers. The RSM will be responsible for executing key business building initiatives in order to achieve assigned volume, share and profit targets.

Responsibilities
• RSM will be responsible to foster and grow bottler partner relationships through the use of DPS business principles, services and brands.
• Identify, develop and execute key business building opportunities around distribution, availability, promotion, display, merchandising and pricing that will support volume and share growth for Dr Pepper Snapple Group Trademark Brands while balancing these elements in a manner that will ensure a sustainable and profitable business model for both Dr Pepper Snapple Group and our customers.
• RSM will also interact with bottler account leads in both large and small format retailers to create bottler activated local promotion activity as well as measure program execution.
• Foster growth in the all other market and unassigned category as well as all emerging business opportunities in the North Carolina and South Carolina CASO franchises.
• Manage an effective communication process between multiple parties to maximize the execution of all promotions and programs. Provide the communication link to other departments and functions in order to facilitate volume-building initiatives
• Continuously improve bottler participation in National & Regional account activities
• Ensure forecast accuracy in order to facilitate the efficient utilization of Dr Pepper Snapple Groups assets.
• Effectively utilize all associated budgets to fully leverage brand potential, maximizing freedom of choice for consumers through uncompromising retail execution
• Develop business building presentations and timely reviews for bottlers, and local retail customers through effective use of syndicated data, customer channel data, trade information and brand facts
• Build Trimester commercial operating plans in conjunction with the bottler’s commercial teams. Also required will be to provide a post analyze the effectiveness of the plans.
• Conduct trade visits with bottlers to inspect execution, competitive activity and to assess future opportunities with our customer and document each trade visit with a survey an appropriate action steps.
• Perform administrative responsibilities as required by the individual distribution system.
• Continuously improve self-performance with all the P/C applications to include Excel / Word / Power point / Nielsen / Trade Promotion Management/ Margin Minder/ APO/ Capstone to process information required by DPSG.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 5 years equivalent business experience
• 3 - 7 Years of sales management experience within Beverage or CPG
• Computer literacy to include: PowerPoint, Excel and Word, Margin Minder
• Travel (Air/Auto) required is roughly 30% of time. Dictated by coverage plan (All North Carolina and some parts of South Carolina)
