Local, growing firm is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our experienced professional team. Job responsibilities include general administrative and light bookkeeping/financial duties.

Position requires excellent computer and communication skills along with a B.S/B.A. degree or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated work experience as an administrative assistant or bookkeeper is preferred.


Administrative duties may include fielding and screening telephone calls, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, filing, and faxing. Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills; managing calendars; making travel, meeting and event arrangements; preparing reports and financial data; and customer relations. This position also requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors; other duties as required.

Bookkeeping duties may include purchasing supplies and equipment as authorized by management; monitoring office supply levels and reorder as necessary; paying supplier invoices in a timely manner; paying any debt as it comes due for payment; issuing invoices to customers; ensuring that receivables are collected promptly; recording cash receipts and make bank deposits; conducting a monthly reconciliation of every bank account; maintaining the petty cash fund; other duties as required.
