RECORD CENTER SPECIALIST
JOB DESCRIPTION
Leafstone Staffing is looking for a qualified individual with previous warehouse experience for a large document management company in Dedham, MA.
The shift for this position is Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. This is a contract position paying $10.50 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Loading boxes, files, books, binders, backup tapes and others materials.
- Processing all incoming orders, scanning carton barcodes, storing items in warehouse, downloading scanned information, investigating and resolving all material discrepancies and closing out the orders.
- Processing material retrieval orders which includes: pulling the items, verifying items, closing services and manifesting all orders.
- Processing all internal moves which icludes pulling materials from one location and storing in another. investigating all discrepancies and closing all work orders.
- Inspect and maintain all equipment including scanners, material handling carts, ladders, etc.
- Two years warehouse experience required in a service industry and a team focused environment preferred.
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment which includes climbing stairs, lifting material that can weigh between 40-60 pounds.
- Employees must be able to load and safely operate hand trucks/ pallet jacks for transporting materials within OSHA standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to adhere to and enforce all security procedures.
- Willingness to travel between facilities; must be able to work overtime as required.
- Proficiency with computer systems.
- Steel Toe Safety Shoes and Back Brace preferred.
