Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8/12 D/E/N
This Labor and Delivery unit sees 100 births per month. Need someone to assist with high risk deliveries, scrubs and/or circulates for C-sections, follow patients during labor, perform fetal monitoring, . This facility does practice bedside report and/or hourly rounding. This unit prides themselves on a comfortable and comprehensive experience for all patients and are looking for a team based RN to join their elite group. Apply Now!
Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
BLS & NRP required.
Must have experience in Labor & Delivery, Nursery (well baby and special care), Postpartum, and GYN.
Preferred Qualifications
EFM and STABLE certification recommended
