Link between Project Team and Commodity Buyers to ensure the sourcing of preferred suppliers.
Establishes and manages a timeline for all (local, regional or global) purchasing activities to meet project milestones
Coordinates with SQE to ensure supplier deliverables meet the project requirements.
Works with manufacturing to establish logistic plans.
Ensures that the supplier complies with procedures. (contract signings, etc.)
Procures all project related materials until start of production
