The Hyatt Place Riverside Downtown is currently looking for a friendly and experienced Housekeeping Room Inspector to join our team of hospitality professionals.Overview
- This person would run the housekeeping department in absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
- This includes breaking out the house, inspecting all guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and supervising all housekeeping staff.
- The Housekeeping Supervisor is also responsible for following up on guest requests and responding to Lost & Found inquiries.
- On dates the Executive Housekeeper is on duty, they will be responsible for inspecting rooms as well as assisting the other department members with breakfast, laundry or houseperson duties.
Requirements
- Candidates must be capable of cleaning a full board of rooms (16-20 rooms/ shift) and may occasionally be required to when the hotel is business volumes are low.
- At least 1 year hotel housekeeping experience required.
- Must be able to communicate on a two-way radio in English. Prior supervisory experience and multi-lingual preferred.
- Schedule will vary based on business volumes. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
