Current opening with a hospital seeking candidates for a Patient Account Representative/Insurance Verification.
Must have 3-5 years experience with the following:
Hospital-based patient registration experience specializing in managed care, Medi-Cal, Medicare, and California Children’s Services with emphasis on Federal, State, and County eligibility regulations and requirements required.
Collaborates with the Medical Groups, Health Plans, Primary Care Physicians, and Case Managers to verify eligibility, benefits, billing instructions and to obtain authorization for services and/or treatment to ensure accurate billing and timely reimbursement from the payers. Ensures compliance with all mandated Federal, State and County regulatory requirements and hospital policies. Performs other duties as needed.

Shift/Hours: M - Th: 0830 - 1730, Fri: 0900 - 1500
Dress: Business Attire
