About this job
As a Collections Representative your primary responsibilities will be to meet the minimum expected call average and collection dollars each month as determined by management. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You must have a strong drive for results while maintaining integrity and must also demonstrate superior negotiating skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful collection experience, knowledge and understanding of the Fair Debt Act; and the ability to analyze and resolve problems with effective solutions while demonstrating a high degree of patience.
Responsibilities
- Place outbound and receive inbound collection calls
- Collect debts on past due accounts
- Process credit card payments by phone
- Communicate billing to customers.
- Proven ability to analyze accounts in order to resolve problems.
- Negotiate and set up appropriate deferred payment plans.
- Possess a working knowledge of the Fair Debt Act.
- Review daily and monthly statistics
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
2 years of Call Center Experience, 2 - 3 years of Collections experience working with Past Due accounts, Knowledge of Fair Debt Act, Associates Degree in Business or related field, Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly desired
