POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for assisting guests in the Courtyard Bistro and all Catering Outlets in an efficient and courteous manner. Effectively promotes the Bistro, takes orders, and prepares/delivers food, coffee and beverage orders. Adheres to all health regulations, and follows CSM/Marriott's high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.
Requirements REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: One year prior serving/customer service preferred. Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast paced environment. Must have the ability to speak, understand, and write English in order to meet guest's needs and complete required paperwork.
Physical: Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout shift. Requires ability to complete physically demanding responsibilities such as walking, standing, carrying, and lifting continuously throughout the shift.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Prefer two or more years of previous serving and bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
