About this job
A company in the Greater Cleveland area that specializes in the food & beverage industry is currently seeking an Account Payment Coordinator for their credit and collections department to do the following:
- Responsible for successful and timely payment application and deduction resolution
- Applies payments for specified group of customers
- Identifies, analyzes, and investigates deductions and unapplied cash
- Obtaining and gathering supporting documentation to enable identification and resolution of deductions
- Ensure documents are readily available for appropriate parties to audit
- Develop process improvements, including recommendations for systems, policy and procedure enhancements
- Analyze and resolve root cause of customer related issues and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in accounting/finance/or pertinent major
- Must be proficient in Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
