Home Health Nurse - (HH RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $29.00 - 31.00
Exclusive Order
Central Coast VNA & Hospice in Salinas continues its tradition as the premier provider of Home Healthcare and Hospice services for the central bay area. They are seeking a qualified Homehealth RN with perm CA license for a 13 week contract to work in their Monterey branch with flexibility to float to the Salinas office.
The home health nurse provides care in the patient’s place of residence with a variety of responsibilities that includes wound care, medication, patient assessment, and disease treatment and prevention education. Case management duties are sometimes included. The level of intricacy and required course of treatment for each patient's medical condition determines whether care is provided by an RN or LPN (LPNs are licensed to work under the supervision of an RN after one year of specialized training).
Required Qualifications
1) Perm CA license in hand to consider, will not take temp
2) Homehealth experience

Monterey was once the capital of what’s known as Upper California or “Alta California” and for a long time was the only port of entry or taxable goods coming into California. The city is located on the southern edge of Monterey Bay on the Pacific Coast and is famous for having a notable Aquarium; its own Fisherman’s Wharf and is home to the annual Monterey Jazz Festival.
