JOB DESCRIPTION
We're currently seeking an Accounting Specialist for a contract opportunity in Houston, TX.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Work with multiple project managers to track activities and drive financial performance against complex goals.
- Perform profitability analysis and report project status to senior management on a regular basis.
- Participate in the development and/or improvement of existing processes to reduce repetitive work and help to maximize team productivity.
- Support other month-end closing activities.
- Must meet tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting or Business Administration.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills for cost analysis and controlling.
- Knowledge and proven experience with SAP (ECC 6.0, FI CO module).
- Ideal candidate should also possess knowledge of SQL, access, Visual Basic coding.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This is a 6+ month contract position
