Senior Lending Officer

Our Client is a Miami-based Payment Processing company that is aggressively developing its Lending Division. We are seeking an experienced and proven Senior Lending Officer with a winning track record. The Senior Lending Officer will grow and develop the new lending division, with a team predominantly focused on phone sales. This person will be responsible for all aspects of sales, administration and managing a profitable division. This person will create an environment which inspires employees towards personal and professional growth.

Position Description

As the Senior Lending Officer , you will be responsible for handling all aspects of administration activities related to our company’s loan products and services. You will manage existing vendor contracts, select new vendors, and identify opportunities for product expansion. You will manage communication with the vendors at all phases, from prospecting, during the sale, and post-closing. You will be responsible for generating reports on all sales activities and managing the approval process with each lender.

You will be responsible for recruiting the highest caliber sales people to join our team. We have 20 years’ worth of successful sales management upon which to rely for guidance. Our sales organization is strong, but we are looking for someone to come in with a high degree of autonomy who takes the initiative to introduce new ideas. The expanded sales team will report directly to you. You will be responsible for creating and running reports that track the metrics and performance of various lead campaigns and sales activities.

You will lead the sales team by example and manage the sales team to handle all phases of the sales process. This will include training salespeople on how to sell our products and services, how to manage lead flow, contact merchants by phone, email and other channels of communication, how to manage their pipeline, manage the sale, complete paperwork, submit all necessary information to support team, and all other aspects of the process.

We have multiple tested and proven lead sources which you will be managing. Your role will include evaluating the performance of each, as well as identifying new lead sources for future growth. You will own the distribution, tracking and reporting of lead information. Our sophisticated CRM and lead management systems offer the most advanced capabilities for you to manage your role.

You will also help develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market. In addition, you will help manage new product launch and roll-out, including creation of all applicable tools, communication and implementation with the sales team, monthly product and sales calls, marketing materials, pricing issues, cross-functional coordination, and support flow.

Requirements
  • 3 + years of sales experience in lending or related industry
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Strong management and executive experience
  • Deep understanding of lead management
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong command of CRM tools
  • Bachelor’s degree (if not, 5 years sales executive experience with more than 10 people)


Compensation
  • Base salary of $50,000 - $70,000
  • $250 per month non-taxable contribution towards individual medical benefit plans
  • Five days paid time off year 1, ten days paid time off years 2 – 4, fifteen days paid time off years 5+
  • Commissions share of net revenue on all closed loans
  • Variable bonuses based on performance, including meeting sales targets on identified products
