As a Prior Authorization Supervisor, you will
inspire an elite team to provide excellence in pharmacy prior authorizations.
In this fast-paced role, you will motivate Pharmacy Technicians to ensure
productivity and improve current processes with prior authorizations. It's an
environment of exciting challenges where you empower your team to achieve more
and recognize then when they do.



 



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Manage, retain and develop the brightest and most diverse
    team of up to 20 pharmacy technicians and leads
  • Establish goals and priorities for your elite team to obtain
    excellence in quality, schedule adherence, service level and average handle
    time
  • Be the driving force when identifying and resolving
    operational glitches by utilizing a defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Inspire change and drive action when presenting information
    and responding to questions from groups of pharmacy technicians, leadership,
    and clients
  • Motivate your team with positive communication and enriching
    feedback
  • Conducts annual performance reviews for team members
  • Create and maintain an environment of collaboration


Requirements

Requirements:



  • High School Diploma/ GED

  • 2+ years experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead with a
    team of 10 or more

  • 1+ years experience in coaching towards metric driven goals

  • Basic experience with Windows PC applications, which
    includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications is
    required

  • Flexible with work hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 10:00PM
    and rotating Saturday 6:00AM to 3:00PM



 



Assets:



  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification or Arizona
    Pharmacy Technician state 

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in retail,
    hospital, or PBM environment
