Aerotek Commercial Staffing is currently seeking Diesel Technicians available on 1st shift to work for a small diesel shop in Seaford, DE. These opportunities are contract-to-hire with the opportunity to go permanent.
Qualified candidates must have:
> Minimum of 2 years of experience working on diesel trucks
> Certifications in PackCar, Cummins, MX13 Engine, Volvo or Detroit engines is a plus
> Must be able to work with little to no supervision
> Work in a team-enriched environment
Technician will be responsible for:
> Component repair or replacement
> Assist with the removal, replacement, and repair of major components
> Perform Preventive Maintenance Services (PM) and PM related repairs with supervision such as but not limited to:
- Rebuilding engines
- Oil changes
- Change Tires
- Balance Tires
- Lube Chasey
- Repair Lights (trucks & trailers)
- Adjust Brakes
- Adjust Clutch
- Replace Fan Belts
Shift: Monday - Friday 1:30pm - 10:00pm
