RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for the continuous monitoring of a three large Air Separation Units, an Argon Purification Unit, and a Nitrogen Liquefier. Some of the duties include the starting and stopping equipment, process optimization, tanker loading and unloading, routine maintenance and troubleshooting operating issues. This position is also involved in the site safety program and continuous improvement projects. The position requires rotating shift work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Applicants must have a HS diploma/equivalency.
-A 2 year technical/business degree is preferred, but not required.
- Navy Nuclear or Machinist/Aircraft background preferred.
-Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing/production, processing or chemical/ petrochemical environment.
-Cryogenic plant experience is a plus.
- A strong commitment to safety, working as a team and operational excellence.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Able to work a rotating shift schedule
- Mechanical Maint: pumps, compressors, troubleshoot, basic electrical background (able to isolate pumps and make sure the voltage is correct).
