About this job
Established restoration company located in the east Bay is looking for an office administrator with 1-2 years of relevant experience in a professional office environment.
This is a Full time 40+hrs/week open ended long term contract.
This is an excellent starting opportunity at a very creative dynamic company. The office assistant will be responsible for reception and the support of administrative activities across the organization. The company has a dynamic environment, so this position will also have opportunities to be part of a team supporting the organization with company activities, such as event planning and execution, reception, etc.
Key duties include:
-Make travel arrangements / schedule guests / Receptionist.
-Oversee FedEx and UPS deliveries/pickups.
-Oversee supply inventory, including organizing and stocking.
-Serve as primary back up to others in the office.
-Serve as primary organizer for company kitchen and supplies.
-Prepare agendas and make arrangements for company meetings.
-Locate and manage external vendors, as required.
-Oversee timely completion of special projects as needed .
Qualifications include:
-AA or equivalent schooling and work experience preferred.
-1+ years of working in a professional work environment.
-Upbeat pleasant personality; good sense of humor; professional attitude.
-Demonstrate excellent English grammar, written and oral communication skills.
-Skilled in developing collaborative internal and external relationships, both as an individual and team member.
-Excellent attention to detail and outstanding follow through on details.
-Demonstrate strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
-Strong sense of discretion and professionalism.
