About this job
The Shipping Manager is the central point-of-contact within the Distribution Center (DC) to ensure all operations meet the contractual obligations for shipping materials out of the DC. Operations include chemical storage, inventory control, labeling, marking, picking, packaging and shipping. In some instances the position may also be assigned to supervise the receiving and inspection processes.
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred
- Three years combined experience in, warehouse, distribution, Quality Control, ISO, JIT delivery systems, supply chain operations and purchasing/inventory control processes and procedures preferred.
- 5 years minimum experience in Purchasing, Operations, Logistics, Warehouse Management or related field desired.
