Asphalt Job Description

• Shoveling and spreading asphalt and asphalt base in patching, repairing and reconstructing streets

• Cleaning and filling road cracks with sealing material

• Installing, repairing, and replacing culverts and storm drains

• Using concrete cutting and breaking equipment

• Operating a jackhammer

• Pouring and assisting in finishing concrete and masonry work

• Constructing concrete forms and performing rough carpentry work

• Raking, vacuuming, and loading fallen leaves into trucks and transporting to landfill sites

• Inspecting and clearing obstructions from storm drains, gutters and culverts

• Installing and maintaining wooden and metal guard rails

Job Requirements

• Must have asphalt patch/repair experience

• Background check and a clean MVR required

•

Pay Rate: Starts at $14
