About this job

We are seeking a Technical Service and Support Coordinator to join the Solutions Support and Services team to support the Cloud Foundational Capabilities suite of products. The foundational capabilities products contain core utility services such as messaging, communications, identity management, provisioning and context sharing, enabling a cloud-based integration platform.


Primary Responsibilities:


 


Provide support for suite of foundational capabilities products


 


Coordinate business approval of production migrations (release entry framework). Facilitate the hand-off of new release functionality from the development team to the OM team


 


Coordinate the handoff of work to offshore teams and ensure that requests are returned on time and with high quality. Serve as the single point of onshore contract for offshore teams when questions or issues arise.


 


Monitor production capacity and storage for the application and take corrective action when capacity thresholds are passed.


 


Lead productivity improvement programs and preventive maintenance initiatives related to OM


 


Review new items (problems, incidents) assigned to their work group in HPSM


 


Ensure that sufficient information is available with each problem ticket to proceed with the analysis and resolution


 


Assign tickets to the individual OM team or to another work group (in case not in the scope of the application)


 


Monitor & report availability (mean time between failures-MTBF)


 


Monitor & report reliability (mean time between system incidents-MBTSI)


 


Lead productivity improvement programs and preventive maintenance initiatives related to OM


 


Monitor and report on quality of code delivered to production


 


Monitor and improve the SLA performance


 


Lead OM resources through the analysis, root cause and remediation of each HPSM item


 


Ensure HPSM gets updated and items get resolved within SLT's


 


Ensure progress of all HPSM items through closure


 


Ensure all work effort is documented in HPSM and remains current through closure.(This includes, incidents, problems, service calls, check outs, OM project type work, infrastructure needs)


 


Support for disaster recovery testing initiatives


 


Periodic updates of application documentation as a result of OM changes


 


Facilitate weekly/monthly presentations with the service manager to explain the health of the application


 


Lead the Deep-Dive initiatives put forth by the Service Manager.

Requirements

Requirements:

 


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field

 


5 or more years experience with Java/J2EE

 



3 or more years experience with Spring and Hibernate


 



3 or more years experience with Front End UI Toolkits such as JSF, HTML, CSS, Javascript


 



2 or more years experience as a technical lead


 


2 or more years experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC)


 


Experience working on an enterprise application


 



Willingness to work in a 24/7/365 environment

Experience with HP Service Manager


 



Experience with ITIL process


 


Experience supporting products in a high volume, consumer facing, with multi modal delivery in phone, tablet and desktop / laptop.
