IT Help Desk Internship Project Are you looking for work that will further your career in Information Technology? Do you pick up on new concepts and procedures quickly? We are looking for an IT Help Desk Intern in Portland! You will be assisting professional staff in providing computer hardware, software, and clerical support. Responsibilities include: updating Active Directory information, updating PC and laptop software packages, cable and switch labeling, updating the Asset Management System, updating other hardware and software as needed, virus eradication and protection, and other duties as assigned. We are looking for an individual with an eagerness and willingness to learn, knowledge of technology trends, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems. You must be a good team player with the ability to research and understand technical documents and apply those resources, and have an awareness of operating systems (Windows Server 2003, 2008, Windows XP, Windows 7) and applications (Microsoft Office). This is a full time, 8 week long internship with a Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm schedule. You must have the ability to work occasional nights.
