Accounts Receivable Professional

Manpower is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional. The job is located in Worcester, MA Monday - Friday 8-5pm PAYING $17 AN HOUR This assignment is for 3 months STRONG MS EXCEL SKILLS ARE A MUST FOR THIS JOB AND ALSO KNOWLEDGE OF CASH APPLICATION SYSTEMS GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Perform the cash application / posting function for the company businesses in a centralized Accounts Receivable environment utilizing SAP as the primary system. Assist with accounting control reporting and setup of wire and inter-group payments. Meet monthly close deadlines and prepare documents in support of the closing process. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires, through experience and training, an AR background and the skills associated with an Associates degree in Accounting / General Business. Must be able to work independently on complex payment situations while handling high volumes of incoming cash receipts. The incumbent is required to be detail-oriented, highly organized and familiar with complex intercompany transactions. Routine functions will require proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Accounts Receivable cash reconciliations and application experience is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required to effectively interact with both internal and external customers. Knowledge and experience in the SAP Accounts Receivable module is a plus. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Associates Degree in Accounting preferred or 2-4 years of progressive work experience in an accounting or AR environment.
