In addition to applying for this position you MUST complete your candidate profile through the link below: http://virtualoffice.avature.net/jobs?jobId=1551&tags=ajackson|manufacturing|mech+op/+tech|do1410760 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: *Working around injection molding machines, robots, conveyors, automation of various types. *Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. *Carry out mold changes, color changes, etc on production equipment and get equipment production ready *Hydraulic troubleshooting, rebuilding and repair of valves, cylinders, control components, circuits, etc - ability to read and troubleshoot from schematics. *Electrical troubleshooting of automation and injection machines - control circuits, electrical components, solid state devices - circuitry based on control voltage, DC, single phase voltage, multi-phase voltage - ability to read and troubleshoot from schematics *Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines *Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service *Work on a number of automated devices using high levels of pneumatic and electrical circuit logic and also to work on robotic equipment *Maintain several packaging equipment (baggers, conveyors, tapers,) etc. *Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities *Trouble shoot molding processes, including repairing molds *Troubleshoot and repair of all production equipment *Use a variety of hand held tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties *Generate and complete work orders as assigned and ensures that the maintenance log on individual equipment is kept up to date and accurate *Conduct several PMs on a routine basis per schedule *All other duties as assigned Requirements *High School Diploma or equivalent *Ability to follow schematics *Ability to work in fast paced environment *Minimum of 3 years with the maintenance of industrial or manufacturing equipment *3-5 years' experience in electrical or mechanical positions such as a machinist, assembler or technician (or) *3 years' experience at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems (or) 3 years' experience at reading hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and analyzing and troubleshooting automated equipment For additional details on this role contact joseph.kaminski@manpowergroup.com
