Working Lead

We are looking for Candidates with experience in a fast paced distribution/production environment, with a strong self-awareness for safety. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time. Qualified candidates will have a high attention to detail and accuracy, other qualifications include ability to lift 10-50lbs and ability to set a steady pace for one's self while meeting production requirements. Responsibilities: Conduct start of shift meetings including relaying any communication updates, shift appointments, and start of shift warm-ups Incident investigations in partnership with the branch Train new temporary workers- assignment functions and timekeeping processes Coach work performance of temporary workers Contributes to daily production goals in designated assignment function Act as the standard for temporary worker performance. "Be the example." Daily communication with onsite/branch regarding temporary worker no shows or end of day attrition Contact backfill/replacement candidates to coordinate arrivals as requested by DC Facilitate assignment terminations, coach temporary workers as applicable. Traits working leads can provide/demonstrate: Quality feedback in a productive manner Explanation of tasks as relate to safety, quality, assignment knowledge and productivity Training by telling, showing, and doing Consistent production delivery Coaching and reinforcement Leadership by example Demonstrated initiative to take action
