Senior Developer, SAP

This position is responsible for converting functional specifications into technical specifications, architectural design, performance tuning, and development for SAP platform. This individual will need to be able to work independently on project assignments in a small team environment.

Primary (Essential) Functions:
SAP ABAP Development in ECC6.0 (NW701)
o Create, update and deliver reports including standard and ALV reports
o Develop in multiple functional modules
o Manage data transfers including LSMW, BDC, BAPI, ALE, IDOCs, etc.
o Develop forms, including SAPScript, Smart Forms, and SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe
o Develop enhancements to framework including implicit enhancements, BaDIs, and user exits · Develop, enhance, and configure Web Dynpro ABAP with Floor Plan Manager

· Debug and performance tune
· Develop report and interface functional designs and coordinate efforts with the Business Systems Analysts.
· Create technical designs based on functional designs that coordinate knowledge of business processes and the SAP landscape
· Create detailed specification documents (tech design) for objects developed based on functional specifications
· Unit test all developed objects and document the testing.
· Fix issues found during unit testing
· Assist in system test, performance test and other user tests.
· Assist in development of change management materials.
· Stay abreast of new technologies in the SAP technical space and help IT management maintain a roadmap of continued growth in this area.

Secondary (Non-Essential) Functions:
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong SAP coding, debugging, performance tuning, and trouble shooting skills required
• Demonstrated working experience with SAP IS-Retail, preferred
• SAP Portal development or administration experience, including Web Dynpro Java and Business Server Pages (BSP), preferred
• Must be able to speak, understand and write English
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting information and responding to questions from co-workers, vendors, clients, and customers
• Ability to interface with internal non-IT customers and clearly communicate complex ideas in non-technical terms
• Ability to interface with business analysts to design and deploy proper integration of business processes and procedures to information technology
• Ability to create and analyze reports and collect data as it impacts the needs of the enterprise and businesses to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to investigate system structures, build and then implement
• Ability to prioritize and manage commitments and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, required
· 7+ years of experience in SAP development and support, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Experience with multiple lifecycle implementations

Supervision and Decision Making:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Working Conditions:
This position works in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
