About this job



We are looking for high energy, professional & motivated individual to be trained as a Small Group B2B (Business to Business) Sales Agent. This is a sales position and an agent will be responsible for initial outbound phone contact with the goal of identify key decision maker(s) and information about their current insurance carrier and plan (Group Health, Dental, Vision). The individual must possess a willingness to learn a prescriptive sales approach target at small business.

Licensed Agent
  • Focuses on the small business market segment (2-50 space).
  • Identifies and profiles key potential healthcare customers
  • Achieves outbound KPI’s and sales objectives
  • Contributes to the achievement of team/individual goals through outbound discovery calls

Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in a sales environment
  • Active and current Health, Health & Life/Accident home state license
  • 1 year of telemarketing/appointment setting experience, 1 year of customer service experience solving customer problems, OR 1 year of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone or computer as the primary instruments to perform your job duties
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Prior stable work experience
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications and apply their use for phone and off phone
  • Ability to not only understand complex insurance and Medicare programs, but to be able to explain/articulate these programs to callers in ways that are clear, correct and objective
  • Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
  • Technical ability, this includes ability to navigate multiple systems at one time while talking on the phone
  • Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
  • Experience with outbound dialing a plus
  • Acceptable results on all pre-employment testing, including criminal background check, and have a stellar work history.
