Impact

As a Cloud Strategist for new value you will be part of an elite technical team whose mission is to accelerate the delivery of new cloud business services for our customers. This team operates on the front lines of the business landscape, creating rapid prototypes of new value to drive customer engagements and leading the company with the adoption of new technology and service. The Job
  • Evaluate and experiment with technology in the design of business cloud services using open source, standards and automation
  • Rapidly design and deliver business services prototypes, including the cloud architecture, the cloud services, the APIs and data flow
  • Develop, run and support business services testing and rapid prototyping for early client engagements

Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline as well as 5 years professional experience
  • Excellent knowledge of AWS storage (eg: S3, Glacier, etc.), AWS delivery(eg:import/export, Cloudfront) and data services (eg: Redshift, RDS, dynamoDB, etc.)
  • Strong Background in developing Web/mobile business services, particularly data centric services and knowing how to architect for performance, availability, security, recoverability
  • Experience with experimenting and making recommendations on open source (eg: hadoop, Netflix OSS, etc.), open standards and API structure (eg: RESTful) frameworks in all designs
  • Outstanding Data and DBA skills (NoSQL, Load Balancing, Linux, Performance Tuning, SQL Queries, ETL processes, Big Data Technologies)
  • Must have an understanding of analytics and how to design cloud data and services to deliver optimal insight
  • Excellent communication (verbal/ written) skills and a voracious appetite for problem solving
