The Job
- Evaluate and experiment with technology in the design of business cloud services using open source, standards and automation
- Rapidly design and deliver business services prototypes, including the cloud architecture, the cloud services, the APIs and data flow
- Develop, run and support business services testing and rapid prototyping for early client engagements
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline as well as 5 years professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of AWS storage (eg: S3, Glacier, etc.), AWS delivery(eg:import/export, Cloudfront) and data services (eg: Redshift, RDS, dynamoDB, etc.)
- Strong Background in developing Web/mobile business services, particularly data centric services and knowing how to architect for performance, availability, security, recoverability
- Experience with experimenting and making recommendations on open source (eg: hadoop, Netflix OSS, etc.), open standards and API structure (eg: RESTful) frameworks in all designs
- Outstanding Data and DBA skills (NoSQL, Load Balancing, Linux, Performance Tuning, SQL Queries, ETL processes, Big Data Technologies)
- Must have an understanding of analytics and how to design cloud data and services to deliver optimal insight
- Excellent communication (verbal/ written) skills and a voracious appetite for problem solving
