We are seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer at a Mount Pleasant plant. Key responsibilities include: 1.Develop process changes or recommendations in using quality indicators to improve quality and/or productivity 2.Communicate with vendors, manufacturing, quality and engineering staff, completing and documenting tasks in a timely manner 3.Prepare layouts and drawings of processes for the engineering staff 4.Participate in new product launches 5.Follow safety practices and procedures 6.Interact daily with blueprints, assembly and test equipment, measuring equipment (CMM, surometer, optical comparator), & manufacturing machinery (CNC, lathes, mills, grinders, ect.) 7.Utilize Allen Bradley PLC, Siemens PLC, Ladder Logic, Window Logic, and other areas of knowledge in daily activities 8.Write and debug program logic in PLC and Servo Drives 9.Use, maintain and employ AC/DC Servo Motors, Fanuc Controllers, Electronic Measuring Probes, Prox Sensors, Limit Switches, and Control Circuits The successful candidate will: *Have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering *Have experience with the quality process: blueprint reading DCP, SPC, the 8-D processes, ect. *Understand the interpretation of OSHA standards and EPA regulations *Posses good listening, reasoning, and analytical skills *Posses the ability to understand human behavior *Justify costs, savings, or improvements on products *Posses good organizational and problem solving skills *Ability to troubleshoot various areas of manufacturing *Possess effective written and verbal communication skills *Have at least 5 years of experience with machining operations and a plant environment If you are interested in applying for this position please go to Manpowerjobs.com and create an account.
