Forklift Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Our client is looking for a Forklift Operator in Southington, CT. This is a tempory to permenant position. The pay rate will range from $12 per hour. The hours will be from 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri. Please see more detail below: Production: Able to use all mechanical equipment that relate to manufacturing Operate and maintain forklift including daily check per ISO Procedures Performs general cleanup including but not limited to sweeping and mopping Performs general maintenance including preventive maintenance on equipment as directed Wears the proper safety equipment and follows established job safety practices Facility Maintenance: Maintain building and facility automotive equipment as directed by management Shipping & Receiving: Prepare such outgoing shipments for transit. Receive such shipments from carrier. Warehouse: Clean and maintain a neat and orderly work environment Tools are to be maintained, working and kept in an organized manner Maintenance as required Other tasks as assigned Qualifications, Working and Physical conditions: High School Diploma or equivalent education. Ability to learn and become licensed on forklift operation. Ability to learn and become DOT compliant. Ability to lean and become HAZMAT compliant. Ability to operate motorized equipment, powered equipment and hand tools
