Manpower is currently hiring for a Welding Prep Associate! This is a full-time, temp to hire position for a manufacturer located in Greene, NY. This position involves cleaning the metal and removing any imperfections after it has been welded. This position involves using an air grinder/sander and a hammer and chisel to remove leftover slag after the metal has been welded. This is a great opportunity for someone who would eventually like to become a welder.
Hours for the position are M-F 6a-2:30pm. Pay for the position is $10.66 per hour. Must submit to a physical and drug testing.
Requirements:
*Previous experience in welding is highly desired
*Must be reliable and have excellent attendance
*Must have a good work history
