About this job


Assists regional sales directors with planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs specific to assigned sales territories. Administers both short and long range sales strategies targeted towards existing and future markets. Engages both future and active customer account base as well as regional sales staff for the purpose of increasing sales and market share. Supports all facets of sales.
Works closely with sales director, formulating short and long-term sales plans to increase sales.
Supports market opportunities, current products and new products through the implementation of departmental and organizational objectives
Conducts management responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws
Implements the strategic sales plan, consistently generates reports and provides account documentation through the use of Sales Force.com.
Develops relationships throughout the client network, and with other departments, to achieve goals.
Trains and motivates a sales team to achieve business objectives.
Assists with critical actions for the assigned territory, including collection of delinquent accounts receivables.
Edits Kronos daily (for review and approval by the Director of Sales) to maintain standard work hours, overtime, sick and vacation balances for all sales associates within the assigned territories.
Ensures a high level of customer service is maintained by monitoring phone activities and Sales Force (CRM) customer information
Works closely with operations team in order to provide outstanding customer service. Monitors and measures customer account performance.
Identifies and evaluates sales and operational opportunities within assigned territories, developing alternative strategies for success
Schedules meeting for regional sales departments

Required Skills
Progressive sales management experience.
Experience in the automotive aftermarket parts industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage a sales team.
Effective negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of the automotive parts industry and an established network of industry contacts.
Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Windows environment
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations on how to use / apply data to current conditions
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to organize, schedule, facilitate and lead meetings
Ability to speak in front of a group
