Correctional Facility Nurse - (Corrections LPN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N, 8 D Pay Rate: $24.00 - 26.00
This position presents an opportunity to join an elite team of passionate physicians and nurses within the Corrections unit.
Correctional facility nurses, or corrections nurses, are responsible for the health of patients incarcerated in jails, prisons, juvenile detention, and other correctional facilities. The corrections LPN provides diagnoses and care for patients suffering from acute health problems, such as common illnesses like influenza in addition to chronic health problems such as AIDS, mental illness, and cancer. Nurses working in correctional facilities are usually granted more autonomy in making decisions.
Required Qualifications
BLS
Must be able to start an IV
Preferred Qualifications
IV cert
MT license
