Responsibilities

• Support the business by providing building management, staff direction, job planning and technical expertise in workflow systems and digital photography
• Develop and evolve standardized tools for the process, including planning calendars, timelines and communication tools
• Constantly seek and achieve continuous improvements in quality, cost and speed
• Assist in setting department vision and strategies to support department goals
• Assist in the development of the department capital and expense budgets
• Lead reporting for business updates, status, and financial reports
• Hire, develop and supervise an efficient and effective team that meets the needs of each functional area
• Coach team through performance feedback, goal-setting and development plans
• Partner with the director and other groups and leaders to ensure alignment on priorities and direction
• Reconcile divergent demands of multiple stakeholders
• Manage and communicate information about project status and changes in strategy, initiatives, standards, priorities and resource allocation

• Complete special projects by clarifying project objectives and timetables and ensuring required work is complete

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years management experience in photography, post production and/or digital media
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations of a large scale photography studio
• 3 years management experience supporting staff and proven continuous improvement
• Technically proficient with industry software, networks and systems
• Proven expertise in job building including negotiation, usage, and risk mitigation
• Strong strategic planning abilities and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational, delegation and follow-through skills
