Are you a mechanically inclined? Experienced in assembly production? A fantastic company in Mooresville is looking to add to their first shift team.

Team assemblers are the assembly line workers that will produce the engines. Each assembler will follow lean manufacturing principals in which they will be trained in all assembly jobs within the facility and rotate through different tasks, rather than specializing in a single task. Each assembler will be a line assembler as the product moves.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Must be able to follow instructions carefully, including quality procedures, which may require some basic reading skills, reading a tape measure and the ability to follow diagrams and pictures

2. Must be adept at using air tools, hoists and other specialized processes

3. Perform the same task repeatedly

4. Assemble engine parts with bolts, clips & screws, by using hand tools, Torque Wrenches and some portable power tools.

5. Position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoists

6. Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.

7. Must be able to conduct assembly in the pre-paint and post-paint sections of the assembly line, as well as staging for pre-assembly, painting, post-paint and shipping

8. Inspecting fully assembled and/or partially assembled engines, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects

9. Install engines onto, and monitor engine functions on, hot test stands

Education and training:

Applicants for team assembler positions need a high school diploma or GED.
