Intensive Care Nurse - ICU Nurse - (ICU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $28.00 - 33.00
Doctor's Hospital of Augusta has an opening for an experienced ICU-Burn Unit RN. This facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and has received various awards for its patient care. This ICU has state-of-the art technology and staff expertise to care for adult medical, surgical, and cardiac patients. When caring for high acuity patients, the ideal candidate would need to be comfortable with 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns, wound care, pulmonary, respiratory and critical care. SHIFT: 12N
Critical care nurses (CCU RNs) assist in the treatment of acutely ill patients with life-threatening conditions, in settings requiring continuous vigilance, complex assessment, and high-intensity therapies and interventions. Working with the patients and their families, ICU RNs strive to create healing, humane and caring environments while also focusing on patient advocacy, working in settings such as intensive care units and cardiac care units, where patients require complex assessment, high-intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance.
Required Qualifications
GA RN LICENSE
ACLS
5 Years ICU experience
Experience at another HCA/AAS facility
Burn exp. Is NOT required, but very helpful.
Meditech Charting Experience
MUST have a minimum of 5 years exp.
