The Senior Network Program Manager is responsible for the successful program design, compliance with network requirements, network assessment and selection, and program/product implementation. .
Responsibilities also include providing network related subject matter expertise as part of an Agile Scrum team in the development of a new Polaris operating platform (Resolution) to support Small Business for 1/1/16 (plus additional business in the near future):


 


Subject Matter Expert Project management with


o   System migrations


o   Process improvement


o   Regulatory updates


o   Contracting strategy




Understand the domain well enough to envision a product

Answer technical questions on the domain for those creating the product

End User Advocate

Describe the product with understanding of users and use, and a product that best serves both

Customer Advocate

Understand the needs of the business buying the product and select a mix of features valuable to the customer

Business Advocate

Change agent

Understand the needs of the organization paying for the software's construction and select a mix of features that serve their goals

Communicator

Capable of communicating vision and intent deferring detailed feature and design decisions to be made just in time

Decision Maker

Given a variety of conflicting goals and opinions, be the final decision maker for hard product decisions



Enterprise-wide Clinically Integrated Network teams that focus to improve the quality and affordability through improvements in appropriateness and effectiveness.


 


Perform network analysis and strategy development and implementation


 


Obtain data, verifies validity of data, and analyzes data as required


 


Analyzes network availability and access


 


Develops solutions that transform the industry


 


 



In this role you will be expected to:



- Demonstrate expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and/or technologies.



- Lead the development of new concepts, technologies and products to meet emerging customer requirements.



- Identify and solve problems that impact the management and direction of the business.



- Develop plans that impact the long-term success of the business.



- Influence senior management decisions that impact business direction.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree required 


 


5+ years hands on experience working within UHC Network required


 


5+ years of project management and/or Subject Matter Expert participation in:  System migrations and process improvement required


 


5+ years experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions required 


 


Ability to travel up to 50% required


 


Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint. 


 


Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely 


 


Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
