Entry Level Assembler

Position Summary: *Assembles fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units. *Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. *Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble units. *Adhere to FDA current Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO, CE and internal procedures and policies. *Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor Requirements: 1.High school diploma or equivalent 2.1-2 years prior assembly experience, (work cell or small team experience). Prefer, prior experience in medical devices/equipment 3.Able to lift up to 50 lbs 4.Works under immediate supervision 5.Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently 6.Must have and wear Steel-toed Safety shoes as they are required at all times on the production floor Assembly performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Is entry level with limited experience. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method. Maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed. Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps. Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
