Labor Ready is seeking 60 qualified candidates for Farm Workers positions in and around the Roy, WA areas. Job Duties may include:

Chicken Farm work:  Handling live chickens, depopulation and re-population, cleaning farm houses and very physical labor intensive.

 

Job Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 lbs, standing, and moving on a continuous basis
• Must be comfortable working with live chickens
• Must be able and willing to do physical labor
• Must be able to arrive to work on time with proper PPE and ready to work
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must have reading and writing skills; Bilingual encouraged to apply
• Rubber boots, safety glasses, respirator
• Environment is a Farm. It is very dirty and smells like a farm. You must be willing to work in these conditions
• Cannot own birds or chickens or be exposed to domestic or zoo birds
• Must not be working or have family that work with or around birds
• Willing to submit to a Background Check and Drug Screen

Pay Rate:  $9.50-$10.00 per hour

Shifts: Monday-Sunday, Various Shifts, 25-40 hours per week
