Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist

Our client, a reputable & leading provider of environmental construction solutions is in immediate need of an Environment, Health & Safety Specialist. EH&S Specialist:

Supports the EH&S Program to ensure compliance with all safety and environmental rules and regulations, internally established business metrics, training program, workers’ compensation management, injury and environmental incident prevention. The position is responsible for assisting and supporting the EH&S Manager at all of our client’s sites with a staff of approximately 200 employees. 30% field work.

Other duties:

Review, update, implement, company EHS policies and procedures

Conduct (as needed) annual EH&S audits

Support functional managers in safety and environmental compliance initiatives, accident prevention, workers’ compensation management, accident investigation, safety and environmental auditing, and EH&S training

Conducts EH&S training for the Project employees

Conduct and assist in incident investigations and reports.

Analyze data and propose intervention strategies

Serve on EHS committee as required

Assist in EHS portion of Project Start-ups

Assist with EHS due diligence as required

The successful candidate MUST have 3-5 years of related work experience, as well as 3-5 years of Environment, Health & Safety experience. Salary: $60-65k, contingent upon prior experience
