Once Upon A Child is a locally owned retail store that buys and sells new and gently used children's clothing, toys, books, and equipment. We offer gently used, brand name products at a great value! At Once Upon A Child, safety and product quality are our top priorities.
Once Upon A Child-Oakbrook is looking for friendly, energetic, self-motivated, ambitious individuals to join our team. This is a fast-paced business and previous experience in a busy Customer Service environment is a plus.
We are looking for people who:
* Have a passion for making sales
* Are charismatic, energetic and exciting
* Take responsibility for their own success
* Want to be part of a fun, supportive environment
* Want to learn and be challenged
* Are team players who can take and follow directions
* Are mutil-taskers that have the drive to get things done
* Are able to stand and walk for long periods of time and to lift up 40lbs without assistance
Duties Include but not limited to:
* Following all Customer Service Standards
* Store merchandising
* Maintain the selling floor in a condition that promotes sales growth
* Assist in daily store operations and maintaining appropriate stock levels
* Become familiar with products, brands and prices and make recommendations of products to suite customer' needs
* Operate proficiently register/POS system to handle all sales transactions, buys, and returns
