The Suite Attendant is responsible for serving VIP guests in private suites during events held at Honda Center. This is a part-time, event-based position located within the Food and Beverage Department of the Honda Center. Hours for this position fluctuate depending upon arena event schedule.

Examples of Duties/Essential Functions:

• Confirm food and beverage orders are accurate for event guests
• Confirm quality of all food and beverage items
• Ensure guest satisfaction and overall positive guest experience
• Receive orders from guests
• Explain the menu to the guest and answer any questions
• Make guest feel welcomed, appreciated and invite them to return
• Ensure that inventory and restock procedures are followed
• Ensure responsible alcohol service
• Ensure proper sanitation and food safety procedures are adhered to
• Provide outstanding hospitality and guest service
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Standards:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Previous sports and entertainment and/or food and beverage experience a plus
• Must maintain excellent customer service skills while working in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 30-45lbs
• Flexible schedule – candidates must be able to work 90% of all monthly events; ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
