HR Assistant - LC - Full-time / Part-time

This specialized Human Resource position is with one of the largest healthcare services headquartered in Louisville. The position is a contract to hire with one of the most prestigious and fastest growing organizations in Louisville and in the healthcare space.

As an experienced Human Resource Assistant you will focus your efforts being a resource to the organizations employees and managers from across the United States. You will be the go to place for managers and employees for guidance and solutions to their various HR questions. This is a centralized department supporting the entire organization and most all of your support will be provided over the phone and electronic communication. Your customer service skills will be vital because of the various locations, culture, managers and employees you will interact with on a daily basis.

You will be responsible for learning, knowing and communicating the various resources provided by HR and how to best leverage the services HR provides to the organization.

You will assess situations and help them get the answers they need. For example if there is a request for assistance with benefits and it is a more in-depth questions that needs a greater expertise, then you will assist in getting the answer or get them to the correct person who can answer the question. Your success in this role is critical because you will be the experience of HR and ultimately the organization. Your ability to be a subject matter expert in HR and a navigator to resources is what makes this role so crucial.

You will help to manage the personal actions request for employee’s and ensure they are processed and completed. You will also assist in getting critical licensing and background renewals for various employee so the organization stays in compliance with various state and federal requirements.

Candidates for this position will need to have 2 experience working within a Human Resource department in a healthcare organization providing HR generalist support.
