We are currently hiring for a Sr. Maintenance Mechanic in Indianapolis, IN area for a local manufacturer.

 Your pay and shift for the Sr. Maintenance Mechanic position will be:

2nd Shift – 3:30pm- 12:15am Sunday-Thursday, with possible overtime  

$26.00- $27.00 per hour

 As a Sr. Maintenance Mechanic you will be:

-  Troubleshooting and taking corrective action to correct any and all distribution equipment problem calls

-  Demonstrating the ability to install, program and troubleshoot PLC systems as directed to support Building Services and Engineering projects.

 Performing scheduled maintenance on distribution equipment such as, but not limited to:conveyors, cranes, ASRS, sorters, extendos, printers, labelers, scales, scanners, etc.

- Performs distribution equipment daily maintenance such as, but not limited to; Conveyors, Cranes, ASRS, Sorters, Extendos, Printers, Labelers, Scales, Scanners etc.

 -  Preparing all department documentation such as work logs, equipment check sheets,   preventative maintenance documentation, etc.

-  Works with sub contractors and vendors; testing, maintenance and repairs of distribution equipment

Responsible for communicating major problems, concerns and inoperable equipment information to the Maintenance Supervisor

-  Assist in the training of new mechanics

In this Sr. Maintenance Mechanic role the following is required:

- 2 years experience working in maintenance in a warehouse or manufacturing setting

- Must be able to perform electrical/mechanical repairs in an industrial environment

- Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams and blue prints

- Seven years as a technician performing electrical/mechanical repairs in an industrial environment
 

Strong Electrical and PLC experience required

- Strong motor control experience required
