Our Upscale Independent and Assisted Living/Memory Care Community in Irving has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Chef / Cook who is able to make food not only from recipes but from scratch as well. The chef/cook should have diverse cooking skills.
Our Community is looking for someone who wants to make a difference in their work environment, someone who has a winning, positive "can do" attitude and can think on their feet, with little or no supervision.
The Chef/Cook prepares three delicious, nutritious, from scratch as possible, attractive meals a day while maintaining a clean preparation area. Sanitation is key to this position. This person must have a working knowledge of the rules and regulations related to health and safety in food preparation. Think safety and act safely.
Prior restaurant or facility kitchen experience required.
If you have drive, passion, and determination to make a difference in those around you, this job is for you, with great pay, awesome hours and a staff and clientele who will appreciate all your hard work.
This is a full time position. 40 hours a week, with one weekend day and one weekday off.
Benefits are offered with this position after a waiting period.

Speak, read and write English
Magnetic personality
Willingness to learn
