Customer Documentation Specialist with developed Engineering competence

Client is seeking a strong Customer Documentation Specialist with developed Engineering competence who will take the customer documentation responsibility for our food presses. You have a clear and strong mandate to optimize the customer documentation. You will work together with colleagues in a small but very competent engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to work with ultra-high water pressure vessel.
This is a mixed position where customer documentation requires approximately 50% per week. The remaining 50% will include Product Data Management and Engineering Standards work/ownership, as well as other documentary services to other parts of the company.
Duties Include:
• Provide state-of-art customer documentation (including Operator’s and Maintenance manual) to facilitate for our customers to operate and maintain the pressure vessels.
• Continuously develop the way customer documentation is assembled and presented.
• Interact with internal and external parties (such as sub-suppliers).
• Ensure that the customer documentation meets national and international (rules and regulations) standards.
• Assist at work procedure documentation.
• Create various visual aids of documented processes.
• Administration of our TeamCenter PDM system.
Requirements:
• This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Controls/System Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in Mechanical/Controls/Systems Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years’ experience of documentations services (technical writing, creating illustrations etc.).
• Experience of modern tools used to create customer documentation. (XML, Office programs, different Adobe tools such as Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience with Product Data Management systems, such as ePDM and/or TeamCenter.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical interest and ability to multi task.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to be proactive, drive change and eagerness to improve current processes.
• Potential for up to 5% travel including international.
