General Labor – Industrial Vacuuming
- This is very labor-intensive work. You will be performing industrial vacuuming using vacuum trucks; will be assisting in pulling the hoses from the trucks to furnaces, machines, etc.
- Will be doing sweeping, shoveling soot/slag from under/around furnaces and machines to be better reached by vacuums.
- Very dirty dusty atmosphere.
- May be lifted via crane to 50-60 foot high catwalks and harnessed onto catwalks to assist with pulling hose, sweep/shovel.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs
- Withstand dust, heat, and dirt
- Be on feet for hours on end
- Must pass a safety training test
- Must be able to arrive to work on time everyday
- Must wear tall socks, long sleeve shirts, and steel toe boots
Wage: $7.25/hr
Shifts: 1st shift, 12-hr shifts
*There is a shower onsite in case of any irritation to dust/soot/slag.
