About this job

Immediate long-term, possible temp-hire position available for experienced Helpdesk Support Technician.

Qualifications:

- BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience required

- MCSE Certification or equivalent training and experience preferred

- Experience in Terminal services/Remote Desktop Client, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint Designer, Sophos Antivirus, MS Security Essentials and specialized business software.

- Experience supporting PCs and laptops running Microsoft Windows Vista/7/8/8.1, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Office, and portable computing devices such as tablets and smart phones required

- Experience with virus and malware identification and eradication.

- Experience with Windows OS imaging development and deployment technologies, such as MS Deployment Toolkit.

- Experience with Windows virtual environments, such as Oracle VirtualBox, Parallels, VMware Fusion, Apple Boot Camp, and server-based VDI solutions.

- Experience pushing out software installations to remote systems using software deployment tools, such as IBM's BigFix.

- Programming skills, including experience with Microsoft SQL server, basic scripting and automation languages, Transact-SQL, Visual Studio Languages (VB preferred), Oracle 11g, PL/SQl, and HTML very helpful

- Experience with Apple NetInstall and NetRestore OSX image deployment tools.

This position will serve as the front line technician for setting up, distributing and troubleshooting all desktops, laptop PCs, Mac computers and tablets. Position will assist with the coordination of all Help Desk activities, including receipt, analysis, and prioritization and dispatching of Help Desk trouble calls to appropriate technicians and/or assistants. Position will engineer and develop hardware/software configurations to meet the needs of end users.
