Primary Responsibilities:



  • Interpret and analyze claims, premium, capitation and membership data in support of Underwriting, Actuarial and utilization analyses

  • Lead projects to completion by contributing to database creation, statistical modeling and financial reports

  • Create and update automated processes within client databases 

  • Analyze reporting tools utilized by the internal customer groups                                              

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Experience working in a matrixed healthcare environment

  • Ability to manage various sources of information from different systems and larger datasets

  • 3 years experience in PL/SQL developing with Oracle and/or TOAD

  • 2 years experience in Business Analysis/gathering requirements

  • 2 years experience with client relations/customer service

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Crystal Report (version 11) skills and SQL Server experience

  • SSIS experience

  • SAS and SYBASE experience

  • Project Management experience

  • BA/BS in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or a related field

  • 4+ years of experience performing significant data analysis and report development

  • Intermediate level of programming knowledge (reporting code) and of relational databases
