NeuroRestorative Massachusetts offers a continuum of community-based programs for adults with brain injury and other neurological challenges, including post-acute, inpatient Neurorehabilitation programs. Through specialized, active rehabilitation services in fully accessible single-family homes, supported apartments and Host Home settings, NeuroRestorative Massachusetts helps each participant develop skills so they may reach their rehabilitation goals and live as independently as possible in the community.

Description

NeuroRestorative MA is seeking Life Skills Trainers (caregivers) to provide training, assistance and supervision to our participants. In this role you would assist them in residential and community settings with life skills, therapeutic recreation and participant specific needs. Duties also include assisting with medical supervision, facilitating working relationships between community employers and our participants, and cooperating with Mentor and the State Department of Human Services staff in any inspection or investigation. Employees will be assigned to either our Raynham or Easton group home.

Every person needs the support of others, but we look for very special people to support adults with brain injury. As a Life Skills Trainer with NeuroRestorative MA you’ll be one of those special people.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months to one year of experience in the human services industry preferred
  • Valid driver’s license from state of residence
  • Spanish speaking preferred, but not required.
