California MENTOR is seeking a Program Director to manage the day to day operations of one to four programs in a community or small geographic area. Program Directors ensure quality of services delivered and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Program Director also manages, hires, trains and schedule staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of an Area Director or Regional Director, manages the day to day operations of one to four programs in a community or small geographic area with combined revenues of around $1 million.
  • Ensures quality of services delivered and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manages, hires, trains, and schedules staff.
  • Promote and market programs to funding sources, community agencies, families, and related groups.
  • Supervise all program staff ensuring completion of job functions and delivery of quality service.
  • Supervise clinical functions and crisis management and establish on-call duties.
  • Project revenue and monitor monthly expenses in conjunction with program goals.
  • Monitor compliance with all regulatory, contractual, corporate, and legal requirements.
  • Monitor the availability and efficacy of community-based and other supports required by the program.
  • Support staff in the development of and facilitation of person centered plans.
  • Assures service delivery and compliance with all regulatory, contractual, corporate, and legal requirements.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with all clients, families, funding sources and regulatory agencies, as appropriate, and monitor their satisfaction with services.
  • Other delegated duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services required.
  • Master’s Degree in Social Service field (preferred) and a minimum of 5 years experience, 2 of which includes supervision experience.
  • The employee must have a thorough knowledge of the structure of entities associated with the human services field (i.e., funding agencies, governmental agencies, social agencies, medical practitioners, judicial system, community resources, etc.)
